Pakistan expresses solidarity with Nepal over flash Floods, ready to help
Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and widespread devastation caused by flash floods and mudslides in northern Nepal near the Tibet border.
President Zardari conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and expressed solidarity with the people and Government of Nepal during the difficult situation. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and the safe return of people who remain missing.
Asif Ali Zardari shared the message on social media, expressing Pakistan’s sympathy for those affected by the disaster.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also expressed deep concern over the loss of lives and extensive damage caused by the flash floods in Nepal.
Dar extended heartfelt condolences to the families who lost loved ones, wished those injured a speedy recovery and prayed for the safe return of those still missing.
He said Pakistan stands firmly with the Government and people of Nepal at this difficult hour and remains ready to extend all possible assistance
