Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stressed the need for changes in the structures of the state in line with nepal’s political changes and directed to give priority to women-run industries.

The Prime Minister said this in a ministerial meeting with ministers, secretaries and other employees of the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens on Tuesday afternoon.

“The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens is a very sensitive ministry. But we have not been able to give it as much priority as we should. Therefore, it needs to be restructured to give priority to it in the coming days. ”

“Women’s rights can only be strengthened by making women income-generating and self-reliant,” he said, adding, “For this, implement the policy of giving priority to women and giving priority to industries and businesses run by women.” ”
